The Three Stripes’ ZX line has been getting a lot of love recently (and rightly so), having received a slew of OG reissues, colabs, and futuristic reworks. Carrying on the good vibes, adidas take a dose of archival inspiration to deliver the ZX 2K BOOST.
The new model draws on the underrated ZX 710 from 1987, updating it for 21st century pavement pounding. The upper reaps the benefits of a technical upgrade, where engineered mesh and heat-fused elements combine for a sleek take on the signature ZX multi-layered aesthetic. TPU overlays bring structure, while a full-length slab of BOOST brings the cush down below. In a nice touch, a translucent TPU overlay shrouds the heel to complete the fresh look.
